The cast and crew of The Barden Party’s Much Ado About Nothing can’t wait to bring this pocket of joy straight to you.

The Barden Party did three performances of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Hawai’i from July 5th to July 10th. This was the first leg of their US tour in 2022. Their next stop is Illinois, where they have 6 shows scheduled.

Making Shakespeare accessible to new audiences of all ages was one of the foundational goals for The Barden Party. We perform public shows in each city we visit with free or affordable entry to keep The Bard’s works alive.

To celebrate the overwhelming success of our 50-show inaugural season of ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ in New Zealand, The Barden Party is performing one last show at Theatre Royal in Nelson.

We had the enormous privilege of performing our take on Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at two beautiful venues at the 2022 Dunedin Fringe Festival this year. When we found out The Barden Party had won a 2022 Dunedin Fringe Excellence Award, we had already flown to Wellington for the next leg of our New Zealand tour!
